Red Star Champagne, 5 gr

A strong fermenter with good ethanol tolerance, and will readily ferment grape musts and fruit juices to dryness. This strain also has good tolerance to free sulfur dioxide. This strain is recommended for all white wines, some reds sparkling wines and fruit juices. Restarts stuck fermentations. $1.50

Red Star Montrachet, 5 gr

All purpose. Good ethanol tolerance, produces dry fermentations. Recommended for full bodied reds and whites. It is not recommended for grapes that have been dusted with sulfur, because of a tendency to produce hydrogen sulfide in the presence of higher concentrations of sulfur compounds. Noted for low volatile acidity, good flavor complexity, and intense color. $1.50
Red Star Pasteur Red, 5 gr Encourages the development of varietal fruit flavors, balanced by complex aromas, especially when using grapes of the Cabernet family. $1.50

Red Star Premiere Cuvee (Prise de Mousse), 5 gr

Fast starting with steady, strong fermentation kinetics. Low foaming action is well suited to barrel fermentations. Clean neutral flavor. Good all-around choice for Reds, Whites and especially sparkling wines. Also works well for meads. Alcohol tolerance to 18%. Will also ferment from 50 to 80 degrees. $1.50
